Organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs - Yarmouk President sponsors university celebrations for the 60th anniversary of his Majesty's birth and the 54th anniversary of the Battle of Eternal Dignity

 

The President of Yarmouk University, Dr. Islam Masad, sponsored the ceremony organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the birth of His Majesty King Abdullah II, son of Hussein, and the 54th anniversary of the Battle of Eternal Dignity, in the presence of The Governor of Irbid Radwan al-Atum.

In his speech during the ceremony, Masad said that it is fortunate and with all the joy and pleasure that the Yarmouk University family celebrates a number of happy national events, the most recent of which is the birthday of His Majesty the Hashemite King Abdullah II, son of Hussein, the memory of the battle of eternal dignity, and the anniversary of the Arabization of the Jordanian army leadership.

He pointed out that when we celebrate the birth of the leader, we celebrate a national occasion that is closest to the hearts of Jordanians, because it represents a pause of pride and pride for Malik Hashemi who was able to reach the hearts and conscience of millions of his people, pointing out that this national occasion has become rooted and remaining in the Jordanian conscience and conscience, to confirm year after year that the steps of construction and development continue under the leader and adorn the march of the most precious nation.

Masad added that in celebration of the anniversary of the battle of eternal dignity, we recall a track record of the heroic men of the Arab Army who, with their thick blood, wrote a timeless epic and engraved in the days book tales of heroism, martyrdom and altruism, as well as the commander of the battle, His Majesty the late Hussein bin Talal, may God bless him, and the efforts of our armed forces, which were inspired by eternal exultation, and recorded the first historic victory over the Israeli army in the history of the Arab-Israeli wars.

"We are also celebrating the anniversary of the Arabization of the army leadership, which is the source of our pride and pride in this army, which is unique to other Arab armies by carrying the name of the "Arab Army", and therefore its first reason is that it is the army of the Great Arab Revolution, its first nucleus, the military that is in all Arab territories with honor and duty, in defending justice and enshrining peace and the values of security and truth.

For his part, The Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Mohammed Al-Tayabat said in his speech that this is a day of the homeland on an occasion close to the conscience of the sons and daughters of the homeland, Sheba and Shabana, men and women, where the good gathering of the Yarmouk family gathers to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the birth of the patron of the march and hadi rode our Majesty King Abdullah II son of Hussein.

Dhiabat said that with the hum and determination of the young leader who protected his father's reign and preserved his will, the achievements and reforms that were in various areas of political, economic and social life were generalized within a comprehensive vision that His Majesty the King wanted to be a milestone not only at the level of Jordan but also at the level of the countries of the region, until we saw how the Jordanian experience became the focus of attention around us.

He stressed that here at Yarmouk University and under the guidance of the university administration we are working hard to meet his Majesty's visions and enforce them in reality through the good care of our student children and inform them of the history of Jordan, and how this country was able to rise and continue the journey of building it despite the challenges that he was able to face in various fields.

The ceremony included a march of belonging and loyalty to the public security music troupe, a poetry poor delivered by student Linda Al-Khatib, an artistic poor for the Yarmouk University choir and folklore, and another for the artist Rami Al-Khalid, while the ceremony was taken over by the poet Hussein Al Turk from the local community.

The ceremony was attended by vice-chancellors Dr. Muwaffaq al-Amoush, Dr. Riad Al-Momani, a number of deans of colleges, a number of guests from various military institutions and the city, a number of faculty members and university officials, and a crowd of students.
